OUR HISTORY STARTED IN THE 60s IN A VALLEY IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY.
A family company initially dedicated to the manufacture of monolithic linings for the casting ladles used at local steelworks.
Our product range soon expanded to cover the needs of basic oxygen and electric arc furnaces with new refractory products, both shaped and unshaped.
In 2001 our biggest raw material supplier, CALCINOR, a family company dedicated to industrial minerals, takes over KELSEN
FOLLOWING AN INTENSE PROCESS OF TRANSFORMATION AND MODERNISATION WE HAVE BECOME ONE OF EUROPE’S BENCHMARK PRODUCERS IN THE MANUFACTURE OF DOLOMITE REFRACTORY MATERIALS.
